IG Account of the Week
Of course Raquel found this, and of course it’s smiley faces and anthropomorphized objects and comestibles. It’s adorable and whimsical and a fun deep scroll.
Her other stylist IG account is pretty good too.
FW22 Menswear
Buyers are in high gear writing their FW22 menswear holiday orders, and hoping that this year, they actually arrive on time. I’m doing everything remotely (and sadly cancelled European travel plans!) but things are still percolating over in Europe, and soon to be in NYC.
While MAN Paris was cancelled, it’s still on for NYC. And Pitti while seems to be sputtering along with cancelled runway shows, brands and attendees are still there.
More shows to come later this month: Alyx had their show on Friday, which included the crazy boots Matthew M. Williams has been posting about all week, with more brands to follow in Paris.
Target Home
Raquel’s second Target home collection came out this week - and it looks fabulous. Get your planters, vases and baskets online or at the end cap (technical big box retail term!) at your local Target. These got rolled out to thousands of stores this month!
All the product links are up on Raquel’s IG account here. Also of note: Target launched brightroom this week, which will compete with the Container Store in the storage/organization space.
